Gratitude and Engagement

Cambridge-Isanti Schools extends sincere gratitude to every voter who participated in the November 4 election. While the referendum questions did not pass, your participation reflects the strong engagement, care, and commitment that define our Bluejacket community.

We are grateful for the conversations, questions, and perspectives shared throughout this process—each one a reminder of how deeply our community values its schools and students.

Community Collaboration and Planning

Over the past year, nearly 60 parents, staff, students, business owners, and community members served on the Community Facility Task Force to study our schools, listen to feedback, and develop a long-term plan for maintaining safe, effective learning environments. That work was grounded in transparency, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility, and those principles will continue to guide us as we reflect on the outcome and determine next steps together.

Looking Ahead

Our facility needs remain real and will not go away on their own. In the coming weeks, the district will review community feedback, evaluate priorities, and consider options for addressing the most pressing maintenance and safety needs in a responsible and responsive manner. As always, we will continue to listen, engage, and plan alongside our community as we determine how to best meet the needs of our students, staff, and families.

Our Ongoing Commitment

No matter the outcome of any single election, our mission remains the same:

To Educate, Empower, and Inspire Every Student, Every Day.

Together, we will continue to serve our students, strengthen our community, and ensure that Cambridge-Isanti Schools remain a source of pride for all Bluejackets.

Thank You, Bluejacket Community
