HOW WILL OUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT FROM THE REFERENDUM?

An investment in our schools is an investment in our community. Well-funded schools strengthen our local economy, support jobs, attract new families, and create a sense of Bluejacket pride. Our facilities host theater productions, youth sports, adult education and recreation, and community events. With the referendum, we can expand these opportunities and provide:

Year-round resources
Health & Fitness facilities
Activities for all ages
gathering spaces

Question 1: Community Benefits

- Expansion includes recreational space for daytime fitness classes, pickleball, and other enrichment activities.
- Separate, secure public entrance to Isanti Middle School’s Auditorium for additional daytime and evening recreational space when it is not being used for performances or instruction. This would serve those who work from home, homeschool their children, or are retired. This facility will serve residents of all ages.
- Updates to performing arts at the High School with new curtains, dressing room, theatrical lighting, as well PA and mic upgrades.
- Add tennis courts and field lighting.
- Upgrade the baseball field with new lights, fencing, bleachers and storage.
- Enhance the varsity softball field with lighting, sound, and ADA pathways.
- Add new south playfield at Isanti Primary School with kickball and fencing.
- Safety and Security improvements Districtwide, including fire alarms, door access, cameras, and security systems.
- ADA accessibility improvements Districtwide, including paths, ramps, parking and hardscapes.

Question 2: Community Benefits

- The proposed four-court fieldhouse will create year-round opportunities for all residents, featuring a walking track, competitive running lanes, fitness space, and courts for pickleball, volleyball, and basketball.
- Community entrances will give access to the public.
- Building a modern, multi-use facility with gathering spaces, and improved parking, would create a hub for health, wellness, & connection.
